November 2006 - First field trial results
The prototype of the WinDrive is successfully tested on the new 6.3 MW test stand at Voith in Crailsheim, Germany. The trial includes a static test program with various load levels as well as a dynamic test program to verify the control quality and synchronization. |

December 2006 - First prototype on the DEWI OCC test field in Cuxhaven
Upon completion of the testing phase, the DeWind Turbine 8.2. with the WinDrive is installed at the DEWI OCC test field in Cuxhaven, Germany. |
